How do I make a return and what do I do in the case of a warranty claim?
Our products have been developed and produced to the most modern standards for use in the most varied applications of our customers.
If, in spite of everything, one of our products should fail to meet your expectations or requirements, of course you can return it to us in the context of your legal right to return goods (also see our General Terms and Conditions).
To do this, you just need to return the purchased product to us in its original packaging by parcel service - we will pay for the shipment.
Products which need to be sent on a pallet will be collected from your premises. To make the return process as smooth as possible, please always enclose a copy of the invoice as well as the delivery note with the returned product.
In the case of a warranty claim, the necessary repair or replacement will be carried out by KERN immediately. If agreed in advance you can also take the measuring device to a KERN dealer of your choice, who will carry out the repair or replacement at our expense.

Can purchased software be returned?
You can return software on a storage medium within 14 days of purchase, as long as the wrapping is undamaged i. e. the seal is still intact. Otherwise, unfortunately we cannot take these goods back.
How long is the warranty period?
The warranty period is 2 years on products purchased and begins when the goods are delivered. Damages which are a result of natural wear and tear or improper use are excluded from the warranty as are all consumable parts such as, for example, rechargeable battery packs, batteries, or similar.
